PROCEDURE

As we all know, ceramic coating is a fantastic product to protect your vehicle paint. The consumer-grade coating can protect your vehicle from 12 months up to 24 months, and the professional-grade coating can protect your vehicle from 24 months up to 60 months.

The ceramic coating offers impressive UV protection, add gloss to your paint and adds the water beading (hydrophobic) properties to your paint.

It also have self-cleaning properties to your painted surfaces, which means cleaning and drying your vehicle after the coating will become much more manageable and easy.

Let us talk about cleaning and washing; you need to use some specific products and methods to maintain the ceramic coating adequately without voiding the warranty.

  1. Never wash your car under the direct sun; do it in cloudy conditions, toward the end of the afternoon, or very early in the morning.
  •  It not only prevents the product from drying on the car's surface but will make washing a lot easier.
  • Always use CFC Foam, PH-neutral shampoo or specially formulated products for ceramic coating, and avoid shampoo containing waxes or sealants.

PRE-RINSE

  1. Pre-rinse: snow foam (CFC FOAM) the whole vehicle and let it dwell for 3-5 minutes; this step will soften all the loosen-up contamination, dirt or particles and cool down the wheel/tyre before the proper wash stage.
  2. After 3-5 minutes of dwell time, rinse off the foam.

WHEELS

Remember: Wheels are the dirtiest part of the vehicle. Therefore we are going to clean it first before the painted surface; cleaning the wheel,

Things to prepare:

Car studios Tyre BrushA wheel brush with soft bristles,A long arm brush for the inner barrel,

  • A tyre brush,
  • A wheel brush with soft bristles, and
  • A long arm brush for the inner barrel,
  • Degreaser,
  • CFC fall out, or PH-neutral iron removal
  1. Spray Degreaser on the tyre/rubber to remove the existing tyre shine. Let it sit for 30 seconds, and brush using a tyre brush.
  2. Spray CFC fall out or PH neutral iron remover on the face of the wheel to remove the brake dust.
  3. let it dwell for 2-3 minutes
  4. Use the long arm brush for the inner barrel of the wheel.
  5. Then we use the soft bristles brush for the face of the wheels, but the scrub is as gentle as possible as we do not want to scratch the wheels.
  6. Rinse off

BODY OF THE VEHICLE

Things to prepare:

wash bucket and rinse bucketgrit guardMicrofiber mitt

  • One RINSE bucket with a grit guard,
  • One WASH bucket,
  • Washing (microfiber) mitt
  • CFC Foam or No waxes / sealant PH neutral shampoo.
  1. Two buckets system:
  2. Fill the RINSE bucket with a grit guard on the bottom if you have them; this grid guard will prevent large dirt particles from mixing in the water. Then fill half of the WASH bucket with fresh water and 3-4 caps full of CFC FOAM or PH neutral shampoo solution (Ratio depending on the product recommendation).
  3. Put and soak the microfiber mitt inside the WASH bucket
  4. The vehicle must be pre-rinsed. Please return to the pre-rinse step if you haven't pre-rinse your vehicle. Gently wash the panel and then rinse it with clean water.
  5. Always start from the top, panel per panel (such as roof first- then bonnet and boot) and work our way to the bottom using only side to side or line motions. Circular motion can create a swirl mark.
  6. Dunk the mitt into the rinse bucket each time you clean one panel of the car and run it over the top of the grit guard (if you have one); this will help thoroughly clean the mitt by removing as much dirt as possible before moving to the next panel. And then back to step iii until the entire vehicle panel is clean.
  7. Rinse your car using a hose or water pressure to remove all soap residues.

DRYING THE VEHICLE

Things to prepare:

dry microfiber towel

  • One big drying microfiber towel (Clean)
  • (optional)Heated Drying blower

Microfiber towel:  Lay the microfiber towel flat on the painted surface and then pull it toward you.

Repeat this on different sections until the car is dry.

Heated Drying blower: blow the water off the car surfaces.

Remember: do not let the car dry naturally or air dry; this can create dust particles or debris deposits in the water droplet and form a water spot when it dries naturally.

MAINTENANCE

After washing the ceramic-coated vehicle:

We recommend using

CFC graphene maintenance, CFC ceramic queen or CFC glass coat to maintain your ceramic coating and a new clean plush Microfiber towel.

First, spray (2-3 sprays) the product on the microfiber towel,

and 1-2 mist on the panel, wipe and spread it on the painted surface equally with a microfiber towel, flip the microfiber to the dry section, and then buff it off.

These products work as ceramic coating sacrificial layers formulated to maintain the ceramic-coated vehicle's protection and finish quality.

These products also add gloss, sleekness, hydro-phobic and can help to combat water spotting issues.
